This is the drawing for the lithography print that I am currently working on in my advanced printmaking class.
This is going towards my senior show for next spring (Spring of 2009), and it's a part of my series. My series is women in cultures. How I'm going about that is I have a woman wearing a traditional outfit from that country (in this case, Japan), then have flowers from that country (in this case, Cherry Blossoms) and have the flowers weaving in and out of the foreground and background.
I'm doing Asian cultures in this class (Japan, China, Russia, Korea, and India) since I am an Asian studies minor. I'm doing European cultures in my drawing studio class, mostly ones from my heritage (England, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, and Scotland/Ireland for the Scot-Irish culture).

Hi basically I have been trawling the net for a great art piece for my next tattoo. I think this is it but obviously only with your permission. It would probably need a few small changes but only to make it transfer well onto the skin. The reason for this specific tattoo is I have an interest in the idea of the 'fallen woman' of the time actually ending up as a symbol of beauty and femininity. I do a lot of reading in this area and I think it would make a really unique and interesting tattoo. I would certainly upload the finished article and am using an awesome tattooist. If you would allow me that would be awesome - hope to hear from u soon
